Now the weather has cooled down hiking in Mijas is back is an ideal way to spend a few hours. Walkers are again heading to the Sierra Mijas to take in the stunning countryside and fantastic views. If it's something you've thought about doing but not sure the best trails to follow then the Mijas Tourism department may well have the answer. There are over 100 km´s of trails in Mijas and every weekend they organise walks from the pueblo with expert guides to lead you. The walks take on various routes , durations and levels of difficulty so there is something to suit all.
If you would like to join one of the hiking tours the normal meeting point for all hikes is the Mijas Tourist Office at 9 am but please check when you register. Registration closes on the Friday before at 5pm.
