Playing The Spanish Lottery

Does the Spanish Lottery confuse you? I know it did me! It really is no surprise as there are many Spanish lotteries and some of the procedures seem very complex. The Spanish lotteries are some of the longest established in the world with the first dating back to  1763 and offer some of the best pay outs so it is a shame to pass them by. Here we will cover the various lotteries and how to play so you don't have to pass them by.

State run lottery tickets can be bought at the official outlets (Loterias y Apuestas del Estado). They are blue and have a distinctive sign outside. You will find one of these outlets in even the smallest of Towns.

You can also play online in English and this provides the advantage of emailed results to the draws you enter and foreigners and non-residents can take part in the Spanish lotteries. Be aware that Spanish lottery prizes that exceed €2,500 are subject to a government legislated tax at a rate of 20%

Keep It Simple

I've found that playing any Spanish lottery is best done on line. Yes it does cost a little more but I am informed of the results of all my entries via email. This is a real bonus for me because i would probably loose or not check a paper ticket!

Which ever draw you enter and whatever method you choose to play I wish you luck.
